Fire Brigade

On Friday 29th January 2010Y4 had a special treat because the fire brigade came to talk about how to keep safe and why we have to have smoke alarms in our house. The fire brigade came in our class to talk to us and answer any queistions we have and finally we got to go out side. When we went out side we got to spray the hose which was really fun. What did you like best? By Amy 

Maths

This week is maths we have done fracutions. Now i think that the fracutions where really hard. But the ones with miss watling where easy peasy. what do you think?

Persuasive text

On Wednesday we have been learning how to do a persuasive text,

We have been trying to persuade people to vote for you as your class repersentitive in the school council.

Here is how we had to do it

• Firstly we had to tell Miss. Bates our ideas how to improve the school.
• Then we had to write our own down on our white boards.
• Then when we had all finished we had to write our own persuasive writing down.

When we had to write it what did we have to put in our writing?!

The tests

Today y4 have done tests on must should and could in maths. Now they were hard tests. We did our best multiplying adding divding sudtract fractions and decamel points. What was you favourite test?

The Last Day

On Friday 18th December 2009 EveryBody left school for the Chritsmas holidays.
Everyone on the last day had a pantamime called Alladin. It was really funny do you think it was?

the school is closed due to the snow

The snow started on the first week of the holidays.We were ment to go to school on Tuesday but due to the weather on Monday night, The snow was about 1 and a half feet deep, because of the snow the school has been closed til today Wednesday 6th January 2010.Have you ever seen snow like this? News Paper report

On Thursday 17th December 2009 Y4 has been writing a news paper report for when Santa got stuck up the chimney.

• First we planned it on a green peice of paper.

Then when we had done that we had to turn our Q1s on a find the document we had to type on!

Christmas decuations

Finally we have finshed are holly reef. I really enjoyed it,it  was fun. I can not belive  it took two days to do it. Well i did have fun doing it did you?
